Do you warranty your repairs?Yes — for as long as you own your vehicle.

My insurance company wants me to go to their shop. Can I choose you instead?Yes. In California, your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific repair facility. You always have the right to choose the body shop you trust.

Do I need to get multiple estimates?If you’re paying out-of-pocket: It’s always a good idea to compare estimates. More importantly, compare what each shop includes in the repair process so you know exactly what you’re getting for your money. If you’re filing an insurance claim: Multiple estimates are not required. Your insurance company will provide their own appraisal, and we will work directly with them on your behalf to ensure you receive a safe, high-quality repair.

How long will repairs take?Repair times vary depending on the extent of damage and the availability of parts. We’ll provide you with an estimated completion timeframe at the start of the process, and our team will keep you informed of any updates or changes along the way.

When do I pay my deductible, and to whom?Your deductible is paid directly to Rick’s Body Shop when your vehicle is completed and ready for pick-up.

When can I wash or wax my new paint?You may hand wash it anytime. Please avoid high-pressure car washes. Wait about two months before waxing.

Can you arrange a rental car?Yes. We work with all major rental car providers and can arrange a vehicle for you during the repair process.

Can you tow my car after hours?Yes. If you are an AAA member or have roadside assistance, they can tow your car directly to our facility. If your vehicle has already been taken to a tow yard, we can retrieve it for you and cover any upfront fees on your behalf.

What do the abbreviations on my estimate mean?LKQ / Quality Recycled: A used factory OE part A/M (Aftermarket): Non-factory replacement part Flex: An additive in the clear coat for flexibility Blend: Fading new paint into old paint on an adjacent panel for a seamless finish Car Cover: Disposable plastic sheeting to protect your vehicle from overspray during painting Color Sand & Buff / De-Nib: Sanding and polishing to remove minor paint imperfections Tint: Adjusting the paint color to achieve an exact match
